Testimonials

"The network has always brought together a wide range of people who are interested in sharing their expertise and learning from others."

David Crepaz-Keay, Mental Health Foundation

"PANNW has always been a superb source of information and resources which I have used regularly.  Updates and publications are cascaded through our physiotherapy membership in Wales and I have often signposted UK colleagues to web links and information which I have learned about through PANNW."

Philippa Ford, CSP Public Affairs and Policy Manager for Wales

"The All Wales Mental Health Promotion Network has provided an important forum to discuss the critical issue of public mental health. It has allowed experts from a variety of fields to discuss areas of promising practice and the evidence base for effectiveness."

Phill Chick, Mental Health Development Lead for Wales

PANNW has been a great way of ensuring that accurate evidence based messages and resources on food and nutrition are available to professionals across Wales . Having a centralised source of up to date information and links to programmes in Wales such as Nutrition Skills for Life, led by public health Dietitians,  and Change4Life ,  enables access by a wide range of staff groups.  We hope to see this focus on nutrition, food and health continue within the new public health network and an increasing focus in the future, particularly with the developing work around food poverty.

Judith John MSc BSc RD Consultant Dietitian in Public Health

“I have really appreciated the Sexual Health network as the best way of engaging with other like minded colleagues. The Sexual Health Network produces really high quality conferences and resources of a very high standard. The main players involved in running the network are very supportive and I have found will go the extra mile for the greater good.”

Dr Louise Massey Consultant in Sexual and Reproductive Health Aneurin Bevan University Health Board

“It has enabled me to keep abreast with what’s current, policy legislation and various health related targets for all partners in health and education as this informs my work,  it has also been a good opportunity to work collaboratively with partners to improve Health and Wellbeing for my target audience and keep up to date with information and research were appropriate when using the Network.”
